swimming lessons
for Rockhampton Residents
Bluefit Swimming
Have you decided it’s time to look for swimming lessons in Rockhampton for yourself or your little one? BlueFit’s Learn to Swim program is now available at Rockhampton Aquatic, catering to infants, toddlers, young children, adolescents, adults and those with special needs.
As part of the BlueFit children’s swimming school at Rockhampton Aquatic, your little one gets to progress through exciting new levels as their ability and confidence grows. The aquatic program runs throughout the year instead of a term-by-term basis, meaning your child can continue to enjoy their swimming lessons during the school holidays.
From the infant classes, which focus on water play, to the school-aged classes where they will start to learn new strokes, your child will feel supported every step of the way. Our beginner kids’ classes have a strong focus on building the foundations of water confidence and basic swimming skills. Not to mention, swimming is a fantastic social activity, and also a great way of conquering fears!

Adult’s Swimming club in Rockhampton
BlueFit also caters to adults who never had the chance to learn swimming, are afraid of the water, or are wanting to brush up on their skills. It’s never too late to learn with our fully qualified instructors. Our coaches can help you from water familiarisation to endurance and strokes. Three different levels are available to adults depending on your starting point.
BlueFit Swimming also offers classes to learners who have special needs. These lessons begin as one-on-one classes, with the aim to eventually integrate students into group classes in a comfortable and safe way. These classes help to develop water confidence and are a great way to stay active and social.
Work on your fitness, develop your confidence, learn a new skill and break out of your comfort zone with a range of accessible classes offered by BlueFit. All swim instructors and coaches are selected based on a combination of their knowledge, coaching skills, ability to communicate and build rapport with learners, making for a comfortable learning environment.
