Each summer BlueFit employ a range of working-holiday makers for a 6-month period to swim teacher for schools in term 4 then lifeguard when the pools are busy through December and January.

To gain a second-year visa, many of these staff look towards winter regional work to earn a second summer of work.

At BlueFit we’re lucky enough to have sites in regional areas. If you have a farming business or have friends or family that do, we have roughly 20 staff on the hunt for 88 days of farming work. If there’s a pool on the farm, I’m sure they will throw in swim lessons for the kids as a bonus.

We are so proud of the challengers, the end is near! Can you feel it? We look forward to seeing the winner and more importantly all of the individual results!

But remember! Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength (A. Schwarzenegger).

This year’s Earth Day will be on the 22nd of April and the theme is ‘Protect Our Species’.

Nature’s gifts to our planet are the millions of species that we know and love, and many more that remain to be discovered. Unfortunately, human beings at times upset the balance of nature, and as a result, the world is facing the greatest rate of extinction since the dinosaurs.

We can interpret looking after our Earth’s health by nurturing our own. Creating positive and clean environments for ourselves better our health. Whether it’s walking instead of driving, or drinking from a reusable drink bottle or buying and cooking organically grown food with minimal packaging.

Together, they all make a difference in your health as well as Earth’s!

Did you know the youngest age a child can start swimming lessons is 4 months old?

Our Infants Program begins at 4 months through to 3 years, with a focus on water confidence and safety skills. Through fun and play, we nurture a lifetime of love for the water.

With a parent in the water and the knowledge of our instructors, our Aquatot level will encourage and educate both the child & parent on the basics of water safety. We aim to teach the child a love & respect for the water activities and games!
