This February our incredible managers at the Rockhampton Aquatic Centre have teamed up for a great cause!
Managers Emily, Laura and Fran are working together to swim a total of 100kms this month. This challenge came about when the dynamic group decided they too wanted to participate in raising awareness and funds for sick kids through the Starlight Foundation’s Super Swim.

What is the Starlight Children Foundation’s Super Swim Challenge?
The Super Swim challenge is an annual challenge that allows ordinary people to band together and raise awareness, along with some much needed funds for sick kids. The challenge encourages individuals and/or teams to set a goal distance to swim throughout the month of February. Once a goal has been set they must then set out to swim anywhere, anytime and however suits them.

What does the Starlight Children’s Foundation do?
For over 30 years the Starlight Children’s Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that hosts programs and experiences for sick kids.
