The team at Access Recreation asked support workers and participants to vote for a local business that they felt was inclusive, welcoming and accessible. We are honoured to say that we received a large amount of votes as a ‘Disability Friendly Business’.

What accessibility resources does the South Rockhampton Pool have?
We are proud to say that our facility is equipped with ramp access to all pools, accessible changing facilities/bathrooms, a hoist, water wheelchairs and a heated indoor pool perfect for gentle exercise and regular physiotherapy programs.
Who are Access Recreation?
Access Recreation is a local non-profit organisation that provides services to people living with disabilities in the Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Biloela and surrounding areas.
